How can attorneys reach new clients on the Internet? Written by veteran attorney and Internet entrepreneur Jeff Lantz, this book provides the definitive source on law firm Internet marketing and website development.

This book covers topics including law firm brand and value proposition creation, domain acquisition, hosting considerations, effective website development, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine/pay-per-click marketing, blogging, social/business networking on Facebook and Twitter, and public relations campaigns.

Why are most law firm websites ineffective in reaching prospective clients? Learn how to build a solid value proposition and brand, and how to use these as the foundation to create a powerful Client-Centered Website that serves as a call to action for prospective clients. Web 2.0 design and the advantages in having a website created around a free Content Management System (CMS) such as Joomla are are also discussed.

Internet marketing and Internet social/business networking are becoming an increasingly important aspect of client development. Law firms can increase their website presence and connect with prospective clients through blogging, search engine/pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns on Google, Bing, and Yahoo!, social networking on Facebook and Twitter, and public relations campaigns.

Step-by-step instructions are provided for creating PPC ad campaigns on Google, Bing, and Yahoo!, registering domain names, transferring domain names to a hosting server, and creating business pages on Facebook and Twitter.

What type of Internet marketing is the most effective? Do paid directories deliver website visitors? The book shows how firms can use free website statistics programs to measure Internet traffic and use this information to better allocate marketing spend.
