Using RSS Feeds in Your Law Firm's Website to Keep Connected with Clients

It’s often said that the best form of new law firm business is from satisfied clients. Even though a specific client matter may have ended, why not continue to keep in contact with clients in an unobtrusive way?

Using RSS feeds, attorneys and law firms can continue to stay connected with clients without having to publish or mail newsletters. RSS feeds rss_arrow(RSS means really simple syndication) are fairly easy to set up, and can be done with different areas of your firm’s website (such as Firm News, Practice Updates, or an Attorney’s or Law Firm’s blog).

Once set up, anyone can subscribe to the Law Firm's RSS feed. With simple and free programs, the RSS feeds can be delivered to the client’s email account, or the client can save the feed to an internet “favorites” folder. Best of all, after the feed is configured for the specific section of the law firm’s website, nothing more needs to be done when future content or blog postings are made.
